Product Description

This handy 100-240V input wall charger converts AC to a convenient 5V supply with up to 3.0A of current. Use it with the USB A to DC 2.1mm Jack Cable (#805-00019) to power your Propeller 2 development system.  Compatible with the P2 Edge Mini Breakout Board (#64019) and P2 Edge Module Breadboard (#64020).

My 120V AC adapter came with two 5.0v outputs, one usb port labeled “QC3.0” and was colored orange, and another usb port labeled “2.4A” and was colored black. Naturally I assume I am supposed to use the “QC3.0” port, which I assume is 3.0 Amps output. But, I wonder if I used the
“2.4A” port. Would the P2 chip be “underpowered” at that point?

If you use the 2.4A port, the most current you’ll be able to use is 2.4A. But this is still much more than the P2 needs. If you start to connect servos, sensors and some higher-current devices to the JonnyMac board you could use the 2.4A. I’d just recommend using the 3.0A connection so you’ve got plenty of power.
