"Parallax's curriculum and hardware saved our electronics program! We are thrilled to honor them with a laboratory in our new building."
Dr. Fred Evangelisti
Professor

Yesterday was a milestone for American River College with the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of their new state-of-the-art Career Technical Education (CTE) building. And, we’re proud to share that the electronics program dedicated a room as the Parallax Electronics Laboratory! This honor celebrates 25 years of partnership between Parallax and ARC, where our curriculum and support have inspired countless students. ARC professor Fred Evangelisti credits Parallax as a key contributor to the program’s success, and our own Andy Lindsay, long-time Parallax educator, also teaches as an adjunct professor there. The new facility, designed with industry input and built to LEED Silver standards, will expand opportunities for students in high-demand fields like automotive technology, welding, mechatronics, energy, and electronics, strengthening the region’s workforce for years to come.

The California Community College system is of high value to our state for vocational education, transfer agreements with UC/CSU universities, and for saving a lot of expense on a degree. Many of us at Parallax use the community college system [in fact, I went to ARC and transferred to UCD].
