For FLiP Multicore Module customers,
We’re releasing FLiP for Propeller 1 Revision B in December 2025. Revisions are rare at Parallax because your product designs, documentation, and classrooms depend on long-term consistency. With USB-C becoming the standard, this update modernizes the connector and brings several practical improvements related to power supply and unique user ID capability.
If you are not ready to make the migration to Revision B, we have around 120 units of Revision A remaining in stock. While announcing a successor doesn’t help sell the current revision, we value your engineering timelines and want to give you early notice to plan a smooth transition. Some of you will prefer Revision A, so I’m letting you know of the limited supply today.
We have not fully evaluated our costs of the Revision B, and currently expect the price to remain the same or have a small increase.
