At the end of last week we learned that macOS 15 Sequoia (released 9/16/2024) prevents Blockly Prop Launcher from communicating with Propeller-based products (ie: Activity Board and the FLiP Multicore Module). We’ve heard from two educators who upgraded their Macs to macOS 15 Sequoia and are now unable to use the BlocklyProp / macOS combination.
We are researching the problem so we can begin working on the solution, but currently we don’t know exactly why this is happening. We highly recommend Mac users in classrooms that are using BlocklyProp Solo do not update to macOS Sequoia yet, and stay tuned to Parallax news for more information.
Chromebook and Windows users are not affected. We will post solutions and updates on this page and social media when we have a proper course of action.
