Parallax has provided educational coding, robotics, and electronics curriculum for 25 years. It all started with a weekend effort building a website called “Stamps in Class,” the BASIC Stamp Board of Education, and a simple sheetmetal robot chassis we named the Boe-Bot. We’ve now put over a million robots in the hands of students, with free curriculum — and we still support our oldest products.
We want to give students and educators what they need and want, with the following ideas in mind: hands-on learning gives personal agency, hobby inspires profession, and mastery over the details — with the result being engineering jobs that are rewarding and fuel the economy.
This year, plan to meet up with us at one of these events! We will share our experience, listen to your needs, and see that you are equipped to be the classroom they remember! This also means your students will stay in your classroom at lunch to finish coding or building a robot, too [as a CTE educator with classroom experience, I know this makes a day quite “full” too, but we do it for the students].
