Big Fin Scientific products, now in the 5th generation, have all been powered by the Propeller 1 Multicore Microcontroller. We’ve shipped hundreds of fish-boards and they all work great under extreme temperatures. We have boards operating in Alaska and Norway winters as well as Florida and Texas summers – all have zero failures to operate, other than the batteries. If only we had battery chemistry which was as reliable as the Propeller 1!
We love programming on the Propeller 1. It makes things easy, even for those of us who aren’t experts in embedded programming. It’s a joy to use and the Propeller community has helped us multiple times when we do run into puzzles.
