Parallax Community,
We often receive positive feedback from our community. Our goal is to create the products and curriculum that allow you to do something greater than the product itself. This includes a successful project at school, choosing a career, solving a problem and creating a product, and sometimes even changing the course of somebody’s life.
Being part of your success is the greatest reward for our team at Parallax. I often share your messages with our team and I see how they’re motivated by your success. Below are three testimonials I received this week (names have been changed).
We are honored to be part of your success, and motivated to deliver more of what you need to make this happen again and again!

"I just wanted to say thank you and tell a hopefully slightly inspiring story about the impact your products can have. When I was in high school in 2007 I was very lost in life, had a bad support system and was likely destined to die from a fentanyl overdose. I didn't care about technology or my future. I had a grade 10 class that introduced me to the Sumo robots using BASIC Stamp 2. I was never into computers or programming as we couldn't afford anything like that but thanks to those Sumo bots, I got exposure to micro electronics, programming and friendships i didn't know i needed. I loved it so much that it was basically a gateway to my passion for technology and my life changed directions at that point. I even went on to win silver and bronze at the National Robotics Games using a wedge style robot powered by BASIC Stamp 2. Today I work in product management for a security systems manufacturer where i regularly work with hardware and firmware teams developing RFID solutions with microprocessors. I really enjoy my career and I love my company and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for that Sumobot. Thank you again everyone for your impact you've likely had on many kids, help to empower educators to build up the next generation of electronic hobbyists and beyond! I look forward to getting a Boebot or cyber bot for my daughter when she's a bit older."

"The new Propeller Binary Loader is elegant and simple, and your video showing how to use it was perfect! You should know that the Propeller Multicore Microcontroller is in the FlyCam and operating in the NFL AFC game in Kansas City last Sunday and in Buffalo the prior weekend. Another is flying down Bourbon Street for Super Bowl week, while a separate crew is currently at the Pebble Beach AT&T ProAm PGA Golf Tournament! They’re depending on Parallax to satisfy some pretty high profile clients! They’ve been successfully using the P1 for about 8 years now! The P1 pans, tilts rolls, zooms, focuses and drives the camera and lens while communicating over radios and/or fiber between the operator control panels and the drive motor, encoders, sensors and the camera sled. All of this gear was built by me here in my shop. These guys, and all of my other clients, are going to love this new tool for firmware updates!"

"I wanted to update you on the positive outcomes from our collaboration and my participation in your workshop. Thanks to the workshop and the complimentary test unit, both of our schools have decided to purchase microbit units. This is a testament to the workshop's effectiveness in promoting your products. I am thankful for Mr. Ken's weekly emails, which have been incredibly supportive. His guidance inspires me to seek additional resources to incorporate Parallax devices into our classes. Thank you for your continued support and understanding."
