Propeller 2 Debugger in PNut v36 + Propeller Tool Release Coming Soon

Table of Contents

Chip demonstrates the debugger in PNut v36 (his test platform software) before Jeff integrates his work into the Propeller Tool for Windows as a formal release. The display shows how the PASM code affects the registers, in two modes of operation from right or left mouse click.

If you’re interested in trying the debugger, you have two options at the present moment. Naturally, this post will be dated once it is published so you’ll need to read the release notes to see where we are exactly. In keeping with the “release early, release often” philosophy you can download PNut v36 from the first post in this thread. Or, just wait a few days for the formal release in the new Propeller Tool for Windows. Jeff is working through the serial communication details to integrate this into the Propeller Tool for Windows.
