Tell Us Your Story for Parallax’s 35th Anniversary!

Hello Community, 

Parallax’s 35th year of business begins in September, 2022! We’ve got activities planned throughout the month, but what we need the most are your stories. Maybe we’ve been part of your career, family, business, education, and lifelong learning. Since we’re not that good about talking about ourselves and we’re only here because of you, our community, I’m asking for your stories. 

Please send your Parallax story, especially those with project pictures or video links. Include a picture of yourself if possible. If we use your story, I’ll provide you with a free FLiP Multicore Microcontroller, P2 Edge Module, or a Ping))) Ultrasonic Sensor. 

Here are some thoughts to get you started:

• Did you discover Parallax in the local RadioShack, when you purchased a “What’s a Microcontroller?” Kit? What happened next?
• Has your teaching career involved Parallax? Got a picture of your class? Tell us what you’re doing!
• Do you have a project that’s been running with a BASIC Stamp 1 Module for 30 years?
• Did you make a product from something we make? Tell us about it!
• Were we part of your engineering interests somehow?
• Did you attend a Parallax Expo in Rocklin, when Kevin and Nick flew an ELEV-8 around the business park with first-person wireless view over our projector before crashing it into the building at high speed while everybody watched? 
• Have you stuck with us, progressing from PBASIC, to Spin and PASM in your own projects? Using BlocklyProp?
