We’re making some big changes at Parallax to refocus our efforts on what we do best: our educational program and the Propeller 1 and 2 Multicore Microcontrollers. Above, I’ve made a short video explaining our plan. Excuse the silly headset — I simply had to get this accomplished with the gear that was handy.
As part of this effort, we’re dramatically reducing inventory and simplifying to our core products. The Shop’s SALE button includes our overstock on servos, micro:bits, and a number of sensors. The LAST CHANCE sale is for obsolete inventory and includes Lightware LIDAR Sensors, BASIC Stamp 2px Modules (because of the SX48 end-of-life), and the Propeller 2 Evaluation Board. These items will no longer be available.
When our transition is complete, our focus on education and commercial applications with the Propeller 1 and 2 will be very rewarding for all of our community. We will have fewer inventory distractions, and our Made in the USA manufacturing will be singing along with productive efforts on products that only Parallax can offer!
