Parallax Builds DOCO’s Propeller 2 Motion Controller with PLC Compatibility

"We chose the Propeller 2 because it has deterministic timing, eight independent cores, analog input and output, and a reliable supply from Parallax. The P2 Mini Industrial can control coordinated servo movements with 128-bit-precision jerk, acceleration, velocity and position - something that shows off the power of the P2 and is not easily done on other controllers. We're already working on a version with the P2 that can control twelve servos, using only one of the eight cores!"

Parallax’s customer DOCO Engineering is an expert in PLC programming and the manufacturing of large-format CNC equipment for the assembly of windows, doors and medical supplies. Parallax is currently building the DOCO P2 Mini Industrial Automation Motion Controller at our headquarters in Rocklin, California. The controller has 24VDC digital I/O, 10V analog I/0, IO-Link, Servo connections, and communicates with Allen Bradley PLCs via Ethernet IP (Industrial Protocol).
