New Learn Site Posted – Important News for Educators and Students!

Greetings Educators and Students!

Today, our https://learn.parallax.com web site has moved to a new system. This was a necessary transition to let us plan for the future and we tried to choose the least disruptive time to make the change. Nevertheless, it will certainly cause a few inconveniences in near term until we are familiar with the changes. 

Here’s what you need to know (or watch the video):

• Navigational structure appears a little different. Chapter headings to each tutorial are accessed by the “Continue” button (they used to be on the left side upon entry to a specific chapter).
• Educators may need to reset your password. Your account should have been automatically transferred and you can now reset your password (if needed) by following the Educator > Log In link. Once logged in, you can customize your password via the Settings > Password link on your profile page. If you get stuck, contact us below. 
• External links to our Learn material may have changed. If you have your own Google Presentations or Canvas course hosting material that point to pages on our site, some of your links may be broken. This was a necessary change, but we assure you that all of the material is still here! 

But here’s the really good news! The new site has a very functional search engine that accepts product name or phrases, is so much faster, and is fully scalable for the addition of new material from the Parallax team. For example, this week we will also launch the MakeCode tutorials for the cyber:bot. I’ll post those links later today since they do not yet appear in the navigational structure.
