Parallax Summer Events and Presentations Included Mai-Z MouseBot and HuskyLens AI Vision Sensor

Table of Contents

We attended several seasonal education conferences and introduced our new kits for the year: the Mai-Z MouseBot for elementary classrooms and the HuskyLens AI Vision Sensor to extend the capabilities of the cyber:bot for more advanced learning.

Teachers were eager to see what’s new and shared many of the challenges they’re currently facing, including reduced funding and increasing class sizes. Larger classes often mean purchasing additional hardware to maintain an effective student-to-device ratio.

Several teachers told us they are continuing to find funding for cyber:bot robots by applying for grants beyond cybersecurity. Because the cyber:bot supports STEM, computer science, robotics, and AI education, it qualifies for a wide variety of funding opportunities.

Interest in the free educational resources provided by Parallax was especially strong, with packed audiences attending our presentations throughout the conference season.
