Welcome to the accounting department, where everybody counts!
Mike Solley has been Parallax’s Senior Accountant and Controller for several years already. He’ll be the first to laugh and say “I don’t look like an accountant” which is probably true based on stereotypes. Mr. Solley is an unassuming, polite person who thrives on processes and known outcomes. He’s a veteran of the United States Air Force, which reinforced these qualities. Like many skilled accounting professionals, he knows exactly what’s going on with the business and summarizes it with Parallax leadership so they can make good decisions. And he’s loyal, too.
Mr. Solley has interests that he seems to pursue every weekend. He loves the Arizona Diamondbacks, win or lose. And he loves Memphis and Elvis. Yes, Elvis, and everything about him including Graceland. He has a vinyl record collection large enough to fill a one-ton truck. Throw in an occasional trip to Reno with some entertainment and his Monday morning is like the best day of his week.
