Micro:bit Pin Protector Makes Easy Use of Alligator Clips – TinkerCAD Files Included

Table of Contents

Community member Jon Titus (also a contributor to the Parallax Future Innovators Fund) created a 3D-printed “pin protector” for middle school students. In his words:

“I volunteer in a class in which students (7th–9th grade) use Micro:Bit computers. The kids have a difficult time attaching clip leads to the edge connector without shorting out the adjacent pins. To prevent that I designed a “pin protector” which prevents a lot of problems. These get made on 3D printers from a TinkerCAD file. Your Micro:Bit teachers might like to make some of these for their classes.”

Thank you Mr. Titus for including the files, which we have made available for download so you may also print your own.
