The SX-Key USB is the primary development tool for the SX line of microcontrollers. Together with the SX-Key Editor Software, the SX-Key programming tool can program and debug in-system chips. Also at your fingertips is an on-board programmable clock. The software operates on a Windows platform and is compatible with 98/NT/2K/XP/Vista platforms.

- The clock is adjustable from 2.75-100 MHz, giving you much needed flexibility
- Run from the USB power, independent of the target system’s operating voltage
- Connect to a computer through a full speed USB port
- Perform in-system programming and debugging, no need to have the chips removed from their application
- Connect to a Parallax SX Tech Board, Basic Stamp Professional Development Board, or any other Parallax board with a 4-pin male SX-Key header
