If you've always wanted to jump in to robotics or coding, then this two-day workshop is a perfect way to build your STEM skills. You'll gain an introduction to all the fundamentals needed to teach your first robotics, coding, and engineering classes for Middle and High School students using the Parallax Shield Bot for Arduino.

What you'll do: Assemble the robot kit, wire circuits, attach sensors, learn to program the Shield Bot using C++ code for Arduino.

Takeaway skills: By the end of the training, you will be ready to lead a semester-long robotics and coding class using Parallax online student tutorials. Each participant receives a full Arduino Shield Bot kit (a $200 value) as part of registration.

Prerequisites: Prior STEM teaching experience including solid computer skills and comfort with hands-on projects. No prior robotics or coding background required.
