More About the SX

Learning Curve:
Rating – Easy (SX/B), Moderate (C), Advanced (ASM)
While not as easy a the BASIC Stamp processor line, SX/B provides an easy transition into the SX chip line for those with little previous μ-controller experience. Those already familiar with the C language can start programming SX chips almost immediately. Advanced users familiar with assembly on other architectures can learn SX assembly quickly. Programming SX chips requires a programmer, such as the SX-Key or SX-Blitz.

Points of Interest:

SX μ-controllers are some of the fastest micros on the market. (75+ MIPS!) The on-chip functions of the SX48 include a general-purpose 8-bit timer, an analog comparator, watchdog timer, a power-save mode with wakeup capability, a configurable internal oscillator and high-current outputs. In-circuit debugging makes troubleshooting code a breeze.
