An important part of the Parallax educator’s courses, including the Stamps in Class™ program, is to train educators on the use of the BASIC Stamp® microcontroller. Parallax has instructed thousands of educators around the world. Each course is a non-commercial partnership between a sponsoring educational institution and Parallax. During the two-day course our instructors teach participants how to build and program circuits for robotics and sensor applications.
Instructors are always encouraged by our Education Department to host their own classes/sessions featuring any Parallax product. If you plan on teaching a class or holding an event in which a Parallax product will be featured, we'd love to hear about it and assist if we can. We can even help you fill those seats by making that information available online: tell our staff about your event!
Courses sponsored by Parallax are open to all educators for enrollment. The cost of the Parallax course includes hardware for you to take home (with a retail value over $250!). Registration is closed three weeks prior to the first day of the course due to hardware shipping logistics. Please email us at stampsinclass@parallax.com or call us at (916) 624-8333 and ask for customer service if your registration questions are not answered.
Note: Educator’s Courses are open to high school, community college, university, and vocational-technical school instructors only. Attend an Educator's Course Near You!
