Javelin Stamp General Information

The Javelin Stamp™ module is a 24-pin DIP module programmed in a subset of the Sun Microsystems Java language.
The Javelin Stamp module is a powerful module programmed in a hardware-oriented subset of the Sun Microsystems Java language. In addition to providing lots of RAM and EEPROM space and a well-known structured, object oriented programming language. The Javelin Stamp module’s firmware can also run multiple background tasks.  Java resources are easily accessible due to the number of java programming books at your favorite book store.

Customers interested in the Javelin Stamp microcontroller generally have two backgrounds:
  • BASIC Stamp® module Customer - If you already have a wide selection of BASIC Stamp hardware, you'll be pleased to know that the Javelin Stamp module connects to the 24-pin sockets that are found on programming boards such as the Board of Education® programming board, Super Carrier Board, Parallax Professional Development Board, etc.  You may purchase the Javelin Stamp module individually, download the manual, and begin your Javelin Stamp microcontroller explorations.
  • New Customer interested in Javelin Stamp modules - If you don't have any previous experience with Parallax's microcontrollers, you may purchase the Javelin Stamp Starter Kit (shown above and to the left) which includes the Javelin Stamp Module, Javelin Demo Board, Javelin Stamp Manual, Serial Cable, Electronic components kit with a DS1620, resistors, tact switch, and more. (shown to the left).  Click here for the complete details.
