We’re excited to offer this new discount to teachers. For over 20 years Parallax has been committed to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. We’re taking our commitment a step further by discounting our entire store for educators!

Teachers can also request free samples of our products for evaluation (though limits must apply, of course.) We understand products must be assessed before they are designed into a curriculum. We want to make the transition into the classroom as easy and seamless as possible.

Along with discounts and samples, we offer free software and tutorials. Parallax has a variety of educational robots to choose from for elementary through university courses. The Scribbler 2 robot helps teach first-time programmers through a graphical user interface. The BASIC Stamp Boe-Bot, Shield-Bot (for Arduino), and Propeller ActivityBot robots have exposed prototyping areas so students can build their own electronic circuits. These robots are programmable and expandable, allowing for add-on sensors, hardware, and autonomous navigation activities.

Don’t forget, we can also create a custom kit tailored to your course’s goals, and set up a unique stock code just for you and your students.

*For 15% educator discount on a purchase, simply send a school purchase order to To use a district-issued purchase card, write "call for card" on the P.O. For samples or Educators-only forum access, email with (name, job title, subject/course, grade level, school name and address, phone, email). Discounts cannot be combined with any other discount or special price and are deducted from the quantity 1 price. If a higher posted quantity discount applies for specific products, it will be given. Custom Kits excluded.

Teachers, we thank you for using our products over the years and sharing your feedback. We hope you enjoy the discount. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
