We had tons of people stop by to battle it out with our XBee wireless controller SumoBots. How was Maker Faire Bay Area?

The Parallax team had an amazing time at Maker Faire Bay Area May 19th & 20th at the Event Center in San Mateo. Hundreds of people came and stopped by our booth in the Expo Hall and got a chance to battle with our Sumo Bots. Others were able to see our ELEV-8 quadcopters on display in the Maker Shed and even see a few in-flight on Sunday afternoon.

Maker Faire and Popsicles

Kids had a great time competing against each other with our SumoBots. Parallax Heads to the Capitol

Last week the Parallax team packed up and headed to the nation’s capital to participate in the USA Science and Engineering Festival held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The event on April 28th and 29th 2012, drew over 100,000 attendees including thousands of science-minded children, educators and industry.
