If you are new to BASIC Stamp programming, we recommend beginning with the BS2 which is featured in our "What's a Microcontroller?" and Boe-Bot Robot kits.
This product is rated for the Industrial Temperature Range beginning with module Rev F. The Industrial Temperature Range is an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F-+185°F).
Using the SX microcontroller, the BS2SX-IC has improved speed, larger program memory, and the second fastest serial I/O of all BASIC Stamp modules. Great solution for those needing more horsepower than a BASIC Stamp 2 module (2.5 times faster). The high speed coupled with the Scratch Pad RAM and EEPROM space make this an excellent choice for the most demanding applications. Because of the advanced features and capabilities, it's intended for customers with previous experience with the BASIC Stamp 2 module.
