Do you want to teach your Boe-Bot^® Robot new tricks, like playing fetch? Our newly redesigned Gripper Kit adds pick-up and carry capability to your Boe-Bot Robot at the right price. The Gripper features parallel plates that open, clamp onto and lift objects all with one cleverly utilized Parallax Standard Servo. Since the Gripper's servo plugs right into a servo port on the Board of Education, no additional battery pack is needed. The lightweight but sturdy aluminum, brass and plastic Gripper hardware weighs less than 7 ounces.

Here's what the Gripper can do:

• Clamp onto objects up to 2 in (5 cm) wide
• Lift up to 4 ounces (113 grams) without counterweight
• Lift up to 14 ounces (397 grams) with counterweight (not included)
