This is a new version of the original BASIC Stamp^® Rev. D, operating in many custom projects since its introduction in 1992. The Rev. Dx’s abilities are often underestimated when compared to the BASIC Stamp 2 Module (#BS2-IC) and the BASIC Stamp 2P24 Module (#BS2P24), but chances are, many of our customers' programs could be squeezed into this BASIC Stamp. Although the low cost of entry is enticing, we suggest that beginners start with the BS2-IC because there are more learning tools available.

• RAM Size = 16 Bytes (2 I/O, 14 variables)
• Execution speed of ~2,000 instructions per second
• Easy access to I/O pins via 14-pin header
