This adapter board kit allows you to install a BS2P40 into BASIC Stamp development boards that only support a 24-pin module. The AUXIO pins are brought out to a 16-pin SIP socket for convenience. The MAINIO pins are available normally, just as with a 24-pin module. This is a kit and requires soldering.
