Two key components are necessary to use the DS1302 Real Time Clock with the BASIC Stamp 2 series microcontrollers. The DS1302-IC and this 32.768 kHz crystal; with these two modules you can create an accurate Real Time Clock to implement into any project. Combined you can get an accurate clock to the second, up to the year 2100.
