Stamps in Class Program Overview and Flowchart

Stamps in Class is a hands-on entryway to electronics and programming using real-world electronic components. It explores subjects such as robotics, inventing, sensors, process control, physics, analog and digital signals—excellent topics for STEM programs.

Each book features step-by-step instructions, illustrations, and example code with detailed descriptions. (Take a peek!)  Download full texts as free PDFs, or purchase printed books.

Each book in the Stamps in Class Educational Series uses the BASIC Stamp 2 microcontroller on a Board of Education or a BASIC Stamp HomeWork Board (except the SumoBot, which has its own kit and board).  See and compare the BASIC Stamp board options.

Each book also uses a Parts Kit—a set of electronic components for building breadboard circuits.  See the Components Listing for each Stamps in Class Parts Kit. (The Stamps in Class Mini-Projects has no kit, but a  parts listing in each chapter.)

Each Text is available by itself, or with a Parts Kit. Some are available in “Full Kits” that also include a BASIC Stamp development board. Click on each book in the chart to learn more and see kit options.
